title sequences for the short film, the seeker.

teddy blanks recommended us to lance edmands who'd just finished directing a rather beautiful documentary short called the seeker. the film is a portrait of an amish man in rural maine, USA, who becomes an atheist.  in the process he comes to question everything he knows.

the film was shot it on 16mm over the course of a year and lance was after titles that felt somewhat biblically inspired. caspar designed the main title card so as to feel like the eye of god was watching as much as the seeker was seeking. additionally each card was printed out and scanned back into to give it a more analog feeling.
