long-standing collaborators MDFF got in touch as they were putting the finishing touches on kazik radwanski's new feature film. they asked us to take care of both the film's title sequence and poster. after presenting a series of ideas for the poster, kazik and producer dan montgomery went with the concept you see here.
caspar made the poster in the new york studio. it was inspired by david hockney's photographic collages.

writer / director kazik radwanski asked that we might work with him again on making the titles and poster for his new film, anne at 13,000 feet. for the titles work in particular it was an exercise in minimalism, in which caspar used the top of the screen to talk about the sky, and the bottom of the screen to talk about the ground. such was the nature of the film's narrative.
