caspar met producer miranda kahn at a party in new york. later miranda reached out asking that we might make a poster for a new short film she'd produced. the film, called say hi after you die, was headed to sundance. we presented a series of ideas to miranda and the film's director, kate jean hollowell, and here's the one they went with.

in the process of putting together ideas for the poster caspar reached out and requested a collaboration with elena germain, whose work he'd admired for some time. thankfully elena was interested and she and caspar then worked together on developing ideas and in the creation of the poster itself. elena brought her particular skillset to the rich colouring and texturing of the piece. 

the film ended up winning the short film jury award at sundance, and other awards since. do see it if you have the means, it's excellent.
