we were introduced to homebody director joseph sackett by our friend, the filmmaker francesca mirabella. joseph's film is about a boy who finds a way to inhabit and take control of a woman's body. it makes for a rather funny and moving metaphor for the genderqueer or transgender experience, if you will. we presented a series of ideas to joseph that we felt captured the essence of the film, and he went with the one you see here.
