australian photographer and filmmaker matthew thorne reached out to us when his film, marungka tjalatjunu (dipped in black), got into the adelaide film festival. he and his co-director derik lynch wanted a poster to celebrate this.

we watched this beautiful film a few times and then presented a series of ideas for the poster. matthew and derik then selected the one you see here. hand painted in black ink on paper, the poster will be available as a print with a series of different background colours.
