carol nguyen got back in touch when her short film, nanitic, was on its way to the cannes film festival market. she and caspar made the poster for the short over a long weekend, based on an idea they came up with over the phone between vietnam and london. the film has since been selected for the toronto international film festival. we hope the poster raises some questions. questions we won't spoil for you now with answers, at least not until the film has come out.

director carol nguyen got in touch because of our poster work for matthew puccini's short film, dirty. on the eve of releasing her award winning short film, no crying at the dinner table online, she wanted a poster to celebrate the film's release into the world. we presented a range of ideas that we felt tackled different themes and emotions in the film, and carol chose the one you see here. itself a play on what it is to have to sweep one's emotions under the carpet.
