poster for the feature film, afterwater.

dane komljen and zsuzsanna kiraly reached out once again to collaborate on the poster for dane's latest film, afterwater. the film is a delicious, experimental mixture of ideas and approaches to filmmaking. we presented several ideas for a poster and dane chose the one you see here. 

after printing our design out, we submerged the paper in water and photographed it whilst rippling the water with our hands. of the various exposures we captured, this one seemed to illustrate best the (sometimes dancing, sometimes swimming) figures in a landscape that the film so beautifully presented us with.
