the eyeslicer founders vanessa and jane were familiar with our work through IFP and felt our aesthetic was appropriate for the branding of their new venture. keen to create a logo graphic that packed a punch and could be easily animated, we went through heaps of references that erred on the side of dark, daring and subversive. the original MTV interstitial animations from the 80s and 90s were also a key reference. the result is the madcap piece you see here.
