rob o'brien – an old school friend of caspar's – reached out. he'd just finished making a documentary about losing his mother. the film is called "after". the 8 minute short film depicts rob and his sister entering their mother's empty house soon after she passed. we witness their immediate reactions to seeing the house looking very much as if she'd just walked out the door, and might return at any moment.
we presented a range of ideas and rob chose the one you see here. the picture of his mother used is the one he has in his kitchen right now, and yes his mother's name began with the letter E. the rest of the poster tries to simply reflect upon the terribly empty space which she surely left behind.
