Pete Wilson

 

Pete Wilson graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1991 with an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with French.

He then joined the Access Networks division at BT Research Laboratories, working in the field of optical fibre and cable design and specification, with a particular emphasis on the mechanical reliability of optical fibre. In 1992 Pete became a UK representative on an EC collaborative project researching optical fibre reliability and he has co-authored a number of technical papers in this area.

In 1996 Pete moved to BT's Intellectual Property Department, qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 1999. In 2001 Pete joined the practice of Dummett Copp as an Associate. He specialises in opto-electronics, software and telecommunications related inventions.
