everything about this sleeve had to be bigger and better. the moment we heard act 2 we knew the protomen had taken things far beyond anyone's imagining and that we were under a huge amount of pressure now to produce artwork that echoed that through & through. we were aware of john delucca's work after collaborating with him on a tour poster for the band, but this time we knew we had to ask the world of him. handing over cover duties to him, we took care of the layout + design of everything else and started to put together the 24 page booklet that would detail the story behind the music on the album. few tasks have given us more joy, even when the pressure felt overwhelming. at the time of writing we are still awaiting the final physical product ... excited is not the word, but it's the first word that comes to mind.
