we are committed to protecting any information we collect about you, and ensuring that our practices respect your privacy. note that where you're concerned about privacy on one of our clients' websites, you should speak to the client in question.

information we collect

as part of normal running of a website, we log ip addresses, times and requests. these logs are rotated and deleted over time and the data in them are not used for anything beyond standard web analytics.

in some circumstances we also use cookies and flash cookies (a.k.a shared objects). these are used for basic authentication and for remembering your preferences from one visit to the next, and do not track you or your habits.

mailing list services

we provide mailing list services to some of our clients. in doing this we are diligent to respect people's privacy and to not email those who do not wish to be emailed. we also take care to comply with EU and US spam legislation requirements.

measures which we require for every mailing list we manage include:

• - requiring confirmation from every client that their list is responsibly sourced and not purchased
• - ensuring that every email sent includes information on how to remove yourself from the list
• - providing a rapid response to any direct enquiries or requests for unsubscription.
